Kristus (ir) augšāmcēlies! Patiesi viņš ir augšāmcēlies!
Hristos a înviat! Adevărat a înviat!
Cristo ha resucitado! En verdad, esta resucitado!
By Elder Sofian Boghiu.
The prayer like fire or the prayer without words is the prayer of the heart, (…).It appears when our heart prays without words, day and night; when the grace of God works upon us to such a degree that a fire burns within us like The Holy Light from Jerusalem. Do you know that for hundreds of years a holy light appears miraculously in Jerusalem during the time of The Resurrection? This light does not burn you in the beginning; you can put your hand through it, you can put it on you face and it still doesn’t burn you. Yet, it is light, it is flame, same as the burning bush from Sinai that did not get consumed (…).This fire of the praying heart that St. John Cassian talks about is similar: a fire that does not consume, but burns and illumines just like God illumines our mind and heart when we desire something divine.
